Each contorting riff feels organic and the drums vary plentifully. This is the kind of cavernously gruesome death metal that manages to stand out from the crowd with interesting songwriting and unique flares such as the occasional off-kilter bass line or drum fill. If youre interested in hearing some magnificent old school death metal with buckets of atmosphere but also its own personality, Dcryptal satisfies those needs. As you continue with this eldritch abomination of extremity, each track will spellbind you with an endless array of killer riffing, bone-crushing grooves and tastefully sparse leads. Clever hooks lead into total frenzy and then the doom gets cranked up to ensure youre never left bored on this volatile record. But most importantly, the creative flow makes sense, there isnt any jarring jumps or skittish playing only pure rotten death metal that dares to walk its own pathway down into the crypts of the 90s and leaves with an unrecognised corpse thrown over its shoulders.
