Pianist Bertrand Chamayou pays tribute to two inspirational composers, Erik Satie and John Cage. This album features some of the composers’ well known piano works such as Satie’s ‘Gymnopdies’ and ‘Gnossiennes’ as well as Cage’s ‘Swinging’ and ‘A Room’. The album also features composer James Tenney’s celebration to Erik Satie, ‘3 pages in the shape of a pear’.
