Angela Muoz is a singer songwriter born, raised and based in East Los Angeles. Descanso is her debut release on Stones Throw. Descanso means to rest in Spanish and pays homage to Angelas Mexican and Puerto Rican roots. Written with her brother, the EP makes space for Angelas powerful voice and marks a new chapter as she comes of age, reflects on memories from her upbringing, and looks back to her childhood. At just 22 years old, Angela Muozs voice is one of a kind, shining with gratitude and soul on her debut Stones Throw release. Her debut record, Introspection, was a collaboration with artist, producer and Jazz Is Dead label founder, Adrian Younge. At just 17, Angela joined The Midnight Hour, Younges group with Ali Shaheed Muhammad (of A Tribe Called Quest), toured with them around the US and performed on NPRs Tiny Desk.
