One More Time is the bands 9th studio album after a long hiatus and the return of Tom Delonge. This album is the embodiment of a farewell letter to fans, to leave the past in the past and mend connections with those who you care about, and bouncy songs with notes of nostalgia. In the title track, One More Time, is a ballad about taking friendship seriously as adults and addressing Mark Hoppus battle with cancer and Travis Barkers near-fatal plane crash in 2008 which eventually led the band to reconnect. Through the entire album, you feel a sense of nostalgia which makes you question if you are present enough in your own connections in life. Overall, as a come back album, this hits all the right feels.
