This 2LP set produced by Zev Feldman in cooperation with the Bill Evans Estate features performances by Bill Evans working trios of the 60s and a 1965 date with guest alto saxophonist, Lee Konitz. Further Ahead: Live in Finland 1964-1969, a stunning new collection of never-before-heard performances by Evens, is presented on 180g premium vinyl in deluxe gatefold sleeve with extensive notes, rare photos, essays by Marc Myers and pianist Gil Goldstein, and reminiscences by Evans band mates Chuck Israels, Eddie Gomez, and Marty Morell.
