Bite Hard is the 1972 album from the legendary composer Johnny Hawksworth. It is a relentless juggernaut of funk – highly danceable but also with dynamic production with soulful horns, brash piano and driving drums. The album has been much sampled with parts turning up in tracks by the likes of Beyonce, Drake, Jay Z and Madlib.
