Having spent over 20 years as one half of the duo Blood Red Shoes, Laura-Mary Carter now steps into her own as solo artist with her debut full-length album Bye Bye Jackie. Part Americana, part French movie, and part ghostly motown echoes, the album is a softer and more personal experience, with hazy, strange and romantic songs all centred around her distinctive vocal and melodicism.

The album features guest appearances from Lee Kiernan (IDLES), Holly Macve, and Lonnie Gunn, and is released on Jazz Life.
