Hailed as ace by The Guardian, De Profundis is a 20-strong all-male choir specializing in Continental Renaissance sacred music and performing with the worlds leading early music conductors. Popular in the UK and Spanish press, in 2022 De Profundis launched a project to perform and record the complete Masses and Magnificats of Cristbal de Morales for the first time. The first album in the series was awarded a Diapason dOr. This second volume, with conductor Eamonn Dougan, features the five-voice Requiem Mass as well as Moraless famous “Parce mihi, Domine”.
