The Amity Afflictionhave announced their highly anticipated new recordNot Without My Ghostswill arrive on Friday 12thMay.

The albums 10 songs were self-produced at Grove Studios in New South Wales. Talking about the record, the band reveal Not Without My Ghosts mostly deals with the paradox of not wanting to be alive, and yet needing to stay here, while also mourning the loss of friends and trying to use the music as catharsis.

The news follows recent singlesI See Dead PeopleandShow Me Your God,which heralded the bands return to their heavier roots. Last year, The Amity Affliction sold out a national headline tour in support of their previous albumEveryone Loves YouOnce You Leave Them,closing out the year with appearances at Good Things Festival. In 2021, the band released a trio of singles Like Love, Give Up The Ghost,andSomewhere Beyond The Blue.
