The Cello Concerto by Robert Schumann (1810-1856) forms the centrepiece of Kian Soltanis new album.

Together with Camerata Salzburg, the young cellist described by Gramophone as sheer perfection simultaneous plays and conducts the monumental Cello Concerto, as well as orchestrated songs.

Additionally, the album includes a selection of Soltanis most cherished lieder transcriptions, accompanied by pianist Julien Quentin.
