Formed in Coventry, England, in 1979. The Selecter are one of the key bands associated with the 2 Tone movement, which revived ska music by blending it with elements of punk rock and new wave.
The Selecter is known for their energetic performances, socially conscious lyrics, and distinctive dual vocals by Pauline Black.
